2nd appt. NT Scan. Nuchal fold measures 1.4 mm. Heartbeat 159

11/30/10: 15th week
Starting to feel more movement on a daily basis. Still just squirms and swirls.

12/8/10: 16w 3d
3rd appt. It's a BOY!! Measuring right on track and in 61%. Heartbeat in mid-150s (not measured exactly)

12/21/10: 18w 2d
Felt movement from the outside!

1/2/11: 20w 0d
DH feels movement for the first time!

1/31/11: 24w 1d
4th appt--anatomy scan. Everything measured perfectly with head and tummy in about the 40% and legs in the 70%. Confirmed boy. Heart beat 159 bpm. Got to see a 3D shot and he has my nose!

2/28/11: 28w 1d
5th appt--passed 1-hr glucose test--woohoo! Heart beat 149 bpm. Measuring in 48% overall. Approx weight 2 lbs, 11 oz. Officially put on "low risk" status for next two appts--yay!

3/18/11: 30w 5d
6th appt--nurse visit. Heart rate 152 bpm.

4/8/11: 33w 5d
7th appt--nurse visit. Heart rate 148 bpm.

4/26/11: 36w 2d
8th appt--first progress check! "Fingertip" dilated, no effacement. Approx weight 6 pounds, 5 oz. Baby boy measuring in the 60% and everything looks awesome. :-)

5/3/11: 37w 2d
9th appt--still "fingertip" dilated, no effacement. Heart rate 146 bpm.

5/10/11: 38w 2d
10th appt--1 cm dilated, 30% effaced, heart rate in the low-150s.

5/16/11: 39w 1d
11th appt--1.5 cm dilated, 40% effaced, "soft," heart rate in the 140s.

5/23/11: 40w 1d
12th appt--1.5 cm dilated, 40% effaced. Repeat c/s scheduled for 5/26.

5/25/11: 40w 3d
Samson is born by successful VBAC!! 6:57 p.m. 7 lbs, 14 oz, 21 inches long.
