5 weeks: first real smiles

2 month birthday: slept through the night (9:30 p.m. - 5 a.m.!)

2 months, 3 days: rolled front to back

2 months, 1 week, 2 days: beginnings of laughter--delighted chuckles

2 days before 3-month birthday: started sleeping in crib

3 months: starting to concentrate on controlling hands and reaching for things

4 months, 6 days: first true giggles

5 months: sitting independently

5 months, 1 week, 6 days: first taste of "real" food: apple

5 months, 2 weeks, 6 days: officially started solids: avocado

4 days before 6-month birthday: rolled back to front

6 months, 1 week, 2 days: first tooth (bottom front left)

7 months, 5 days: pulls up to standing by holding onto our fingers

7 months, 2 weeks, 5 days: goes from laying (on stomach) up to sitting up

7th month: gradually masters getting up on all fours and rocking back and forth

8 months, 4 days: mobile! Can get where she wants to go by army-crawling-worm-wiggling-scooching.

8 months, 5 days: clapping hands together

9 months, 2 days: crawling on hands and knees

10 months: pulling up on furniture without help

10 months,  2 weeks, 1 day: First word!! "Book"

11 months,  2 weeks, 3 days: stands independently

11 months,  3 weeks: First independent steps!!

14 months: officially a "walker"

15 months: can stand up on own, unsupported

19 months: first pee and poo on the big potty! 

23 months, 1 day: asked to sleep with a "cozy blanket" for the first time
